Just to make it completely clear: none of the cloning operations actually copy ads or ad values! And they don't copy categories either! They copy custom field lists with all their properties. Relocating ads from one category into an other is possible with the 'move' feature on a per advertisement basis. If you want to create duplicates of whole categories (with all their custom fields, but without their ads and sub categories!), you can use the 'clone' feature under the 'Organize categories' menu point.
